Our Family Carleen, Carl and Siri

Carl and Siri, now live at our home in Sackets Harbor, NY.

Below are our two children, Mitch and Carleen:

Konrad Mitchell Lawson

Mitch graduated from Western Washington University with 4 majors in History, Philosophy, Japanese, and East Asian Studies in December 1998. After graduating he worked for 8 months in Norway, then spent a year in Beijing, China completing his language studies at Tsinghua University. He returned to the U.S. and attended Columbia University and obtained a Masters of International Affairs, May 2002. Attend Waseda University, Graduate School of Political Science, doing research study on the history of Sino-Japanes relations. He has now completed his first year in the PhD program at Harvard University. His hope is to become a Professor of History in a major University.

Carleen also studied one year at WWU and then attended the Tulsa Community College Metro Campus in downtown Tulsa until the summer of 1999. She then obtained a degree in Architectural History at Savannah School of Art and Design in Georgia. She attended an outlet of the University of Oklahoma in Tulsa, obtained a masters in Library and Information Studies in 2007. In the fall of 2008 she found a suitable position in Watertown, New York, about an hour's drive from Mike's parents. She currently works as an Assistant Librarian for the Jefferson Community College in Watertown, New York.  She is responsible for managing reference services  and coordinating the library instructional program.  In addition to teaching basic information literacy and library instruction,  I teach a few other assorted classes  focusing on  social technologies.
