After her death, land was to be vested in Claiborne Lawson and his heirs. Revolutionary Pension records – Claiborne Whitehead Lawson (VA), Ensign 1st Virginia, 7th October, 1775; 1st Lieutenant 2d December, 1776; Captain 18th October, 1777 in Colonel Richard Parker’s First Virginia Regiment, was in the battle of Stony Point (another place it called it Hanging Rock) and Buford’s Defeat, where he was mortally wounded 6th August, 1780, and died shortly after.Death date from Revolutionary War Pension Applications. Listed as a Captain and that his brother Benjamin was a Lieutenant. Fabius Lawson applied for Claiborne’s warrant and stated he was a nephew and heir.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
